Hibiscus flowers create a colorful, tart tea with a taste and color similar to that of cranberries. It is often served chilled with sugar and may be served with other spices (ginger, cinnamon, or cloves) depending on the occasion or tradition. Also wonderful when served hot.
Brew Recommendation: Use 1 tsp for every 6oz hot water (170-180F). Let steep 5 minutes. OR, try it iced for a refreshing blend by doubling the amount of tea used and adding ice after brewing is complete.
Ingredients: Dried calyces (stepals of hibiscus flowers)
